Best Rooftop Bars & Restaurants

Now that our weather has decided to grace us with summer, London bars and restaurants have been sweeping their terraces and dusting off their outdoor furniture to open up a host of news areas to eat and drink over the next few months.

So after your show has finished and you want to impress or just enjoy your sundowners with a view, my favourite places include:

Bars

BoundaryBoundary

Boundary includes three restaurants and bars; 12 individually designed guest bedrooms, plus five suites; a small British food store; and a bakery.

The rooftop has a weatherproof pergola so that the bar and restaurant can stay open all summer, whatever the weather.  With 360 degree views, heaters and comfy areas to sit, this is the perfect place to relax and unwind or try some of the fantastic food there.

Queen of HoxtonQueen of Hoxton

This venue is for the younger, hipper crowd and in the summer it hosts the hugely successful Rooftop Film Club, which plays cult classics.  This is the ultimate in outdoor film with blankets and headphones so you aren’t disturbed.  Whilst you are there you can order BBQ treats and drinks from their rooftop bar.  If you don’t want to watch one of the films, you can still sit up there and enjoy the view.
